Dr. Kumar Mehta is an advisor to Course5 Intelligence. Kumar has been at the forefront of data analytics and innovation for over 25 years and is the bestselling author of The Innovation Biome and The Exceptionals. Kumar is the founder of Bridges Insight, a think tank committed to helping organizations in the public and private sector accelerate their rate of innovation. Kumar worked at Microsoft for 14 years managing some of the company’s most strategic initiatives. Most recently Kumar was the CEO of Course5 and led the early growth of the company for a decade. Kumar also currently serves as a Senior Fellow at the Center for the Digital Future at the University of Southern California and speaks around the world on innovation, disruption and preparing for an uncertain future. Kumar is passionate about education and is active as a board member for the Committee for Children (CFC), the world’s largest provider of research-based educational programs that promote social-emotional skills. Today CFC’s curricula reach schools in over 70 countries and more than 14 million children benefit from these programs each year. Kumar holds a PhD in pharmaceutical socioeconomics from The University of Iowa and lives in Seattle.
